I am a northern California based web developer and photographer specializing in long exposures at night, as well as pinhole photography and experiments with quirky old film cameras.
A journey is like marriage. The certain way to be wrong is to think you control it.
- John Steinbeck

My journey leads me to desert landscapes, derelict structures, rusting machines, dusty back roads and other decaying relics of our recent past. I strive to create images that evoke a sense of mystery and invite the viewer into a world that is waiting to be explored, but perhaps a bit…puzzling. The full moon saturates color and softens shadows, stars streak across the sky, clouds smear and stretch misty trails towards the horizon; anything can happen while the shutter is open.
It’s that collaborative process with nature and the lure of the unknown that keeps it exciting for me and why I’ll be heading out somewhere in the dark again when the full moon comes around.
